The historic barn at Edgewater is a traditional peg and post, bank-style barn that was first used as part of a working dairy farm. In it's later years it served as a grand entertainment center for guests of the Inn where it would host plays, concerts, dances, and various other forms of entertainment. The barn welcomed many famous guests such as Roy Rogers, Dale Evans, Burl Ives, and Jame Best, or Sheriff Rosco P. Coltrane from the Dukes of Hazzard, as many would know him. Antique pianos from these times can still be found in the barn and are now both a part of history and antique decor for current events.
With its expansive size, the Edgewater barn is able to accommodate up to 300 of your most loved guests. Inside the barn, you and your guests can dance the night away beneath exposed wooden beams strung with canopies of sparkling lights -- creating a truly magical atmosphere for your wedding day.
